Before you sign in

A finished guest recording, optional PDF, live-caption draft, and an opaque draft identifier are stored in IndexedDB in this browser for up to 72 hours. They do not sync to another browser or device and can disappear if you clear site data or use private browsing.

During recording, microphone frames are sent through a same-origin, temporary connection to return live captions. That live stream is not written to Databloom storage as a recording.

After you choose to create a note

Authentication attaches the draft only to the account you confirm. Databloom stores the submitted audio, optional PDF, transcript, structured note, quiz, processing state, and usage records needed to provide the service. Private source files are never public links.

Payments and service providers

Firebase provides authentication. Cloudflare supplies application, storage, database, queue, and AI infrastructure. Stripe Managed Payments and Link or Digistore24 handle checkout, receipts, taxes, and transaction support, depending on the checkout used. For a Digistore24 purchase, Databloom receives the buyer email, order identifier, and payment status to link the order to a verified account and provide or end Pro access. Databloom does not store full card details.

Analytics

Databloom's product analytics records only allowlisted event names, such as a capture starting or checkout completing, with the server timestamp. That endpoint rejects extra properties and never accepts recording, transcript, note, PDF, email, authentication, or payment content.

Google Analytics measures visits and page usage and may process device, browser, referrer, approximate location, and online identifier information. Databloom does not intentionally send your recordings, transcripts, notes, PDFs, account details, or payment details to Google Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics also measures page performance without tracking people across websites.

Endorsely tracks visits from affiliate links to attribute paid subscriptions to the referring affiliate. Its tracking script may use cookies or similar browser storage. When a referred visitor starts checkout, Databloom sends a referral identifier to Stripe in the Checkout Session metadata. See Endorsely's privacy policyfor its data practices.

Retention and deletion

Authenticated material remains until you delete a note or account, except for short-lived operational records, deletion tombstones, and billing records that must be retained for security, reconciliation, tax, or legal obligations. Account deletion removes owned notes, transcripts, quizzes, audio, and documents through a retryable cleanup process.

Your choices

You can discard a browser draft, delete individual notes, manage a subscription, or delete your account from Settings. For a privacy question or access request, visit Support.

Marketing emails

To stop receiving marketing emails from Databloom, use the unsubscribe link included in the email. If you cannot use that link, email support@databloom.app and ask to unsubscribe. This does not stop essential account, security, or purchase-related messages.
